This disclosure explains Tokyo Venture Capital's use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) models in our deal processing, teaser generation, and market research.

VentureFlow AI Integration

As a forward-looking advisory firm, TVC utilizes the VentureFlow platform—integrating advanced language models (e.g., Gemini, Qwen, and local Ollama deployments)—to improve transaction lifecycle speeds.

1. Use of AI in Content Drafting

We utilize AI-assisted models to draft and summarize specific sections of website content, including:

  • Target Teaser Abstracts: Condensing raw seller metrics and profiles into anonymized deal digests.
  • Investor Mandate Summaries: Structuring buyer mandates into uniform, readable preference models.
  • Market Insights and Sector Overviews: Aggregating industry updates, financial volume metrics, and market trends.

2. Human Advisory Review (Human-in-the-Loop)

No AI-drafted document or deal teaser is published on this website or shared with investors without rigorous, direct review and approval by a qualified human M&A Partner or Director at TVC.

Our professional human partners review every draft to verify the accuracy of anonymized deal structures, ensure clarity of terminology, and confirm compliance with internal confidentiality requirements.

3. AI Does Not Replace Professional Advisory Judgment

While AI tools optimize formatting and summarize volumes, they do not possess strategic, financial, or legal judgment. AI-generated digests:

  • Should not be relied upon as absolute due diligence statements.
  • Do not constitute formal legal opinions or valuation models.
  • Are intended strictly to serve as preliminary summaries for review by qualified deal professionals.

4. Confidential Data Handling under Internal Controls

To secure sensitive client data throughout the VentureFlow AI process:

  • No client identifiers are fed to public AI APIs: Company names, tax identifiers, key staff, and customer directories are stripped before analysis.
  • Private Server Deployments: For highly sensitive calculations, TVC utilizes offline, localized LLM engines (Ollama) operating entirely within our private cloud, ensuring that no data is transmitted to external providers.
  • Covenants with Providers: Our API setups utilize institutional tiers where data is not stored, cached, or utilized for AI training.

Tokyo Venture Capital Co., Ltd. continuously updates its AI governance frameworks to comply with upcoming regulatory frameworks (including the EU AI Act and local Japanese guidelines). If you have questions regarding our technological stack, contact our compliance officer.
